Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Update Makes Quiet Playable

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Do you feel awake?

Yesterday, Konami decided to drop a patch for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Among the addition of new online competitive modes, and extra FOB missions, they tossed in another goodie. You can now play through FOB missions as Quiet.

Not only is she excellent with her sniper rifle, she can also dash towards enemy soldiers. That’s in addition to being fairly swift as well. But if you just stand still, you’ll activate her cloak.

They also added the Renov-Ickx bis Sniper Rifle in both lethal and non lethal variants. They’ve also added both a dark matter generator and a dark matter stun generator. And topped it all off with an energy wall; a protective shield that blocks a certain amount of damage. So if you were thinking of playing Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain again, now would be a pretty good time.
