Paramount has shown off the first look at their Dora the Explorer movie. And, uhhh… just, why?

Why is Dora a teen? I honestly can’t say. And I won’t. Even if I did. Which I might. But you’ll never know.

As it’s being produced by Michael Bay, expect Dora the Explorer to feature EXPLOSIONS! Or, rather, EXPLOSIONES! Either way, this is probably going to be educational Tomb Raider for kids. I hope.

I’m honored and excited to bring Dora to life. I grew up watching the show, and for me, especially as a Latina, Dora was an amazing role model — she is a strong, adventurous and fun-loving girl.
