There are days when I like to sit and daydream about what the future will look like, but then Microsoft makes an announcement like this and makes me realize we are living that future right now. The newly announced HoloLens is an official Microsoft designed headset with crazy see-through lenses that mesh digital content with the physical into a crazy futurists dream.
The new system also includes support for spatial sound so that you can hear and be aware of things around you in full 360 degrees. Microsoft may have teased the product, but has made no mention on when it’ll start selling HoloLens device. The only information we have gathered is that it will be available, “in the Windows 10 timeframe.” Look out future, here we come!
