MoviePass Files For Bankruptcy

MoviePass

Anybody want a glass of Tang?

MoviePass shut down September last year. So It kinda bothers me a bit that I still have to write about them. But they’ve finally pulled the trigger on the company’s future. MoviePass parent company, Helios and Matheson, have decided that selling or restructuring the company simply isn’t realistic, and have filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy (that is, complete dissolution).

Ah, well. At least you forced everyone else to up their game, MoviePass. No one can take that away from you. RIP in pepperoni.
