Netflix’s Squid Game: The Game: Super Turbo Squid Edition

Yesterday saw the rollout of Netflix’s foray into gaming: Netflix Gaming (an original name if ever you saw one). All Netflix subscribers get otherwise free access to five mobile games through the Google Play store on smart devices. All of these games will also be available through the Netflix app starting today, November 3rd. iOS users will get access at a later, unspecified date.

As stated, the games have no ads or in-app purchases. You can get to them either via the games section of the app homepage, or through the games tab. You’ll then be presented with the option to download via Google Play (or the App Store, whenever that happens). The games will default to the chosen language for your Netflix account, though they will default to English if that language is not available for the game in question yet. A number of these games work offline, as well.

It’s also important to note that kids profiles can’t access these games. And if you have parental locks engaged, you’ll have to enter your PIN to access them.

The games available are:

  • Stranger Things: 1984
  • Stranger Things 3
  • Shooting Hoops
  • Card Blast
  • Teeter Up
