New 3DS US shortage linked to port strike

Have you been finding it hard to snag yourself a New 3DS, or one of those elusive amiibo? During a recent investor Q&A session Nintendo president Satoru Iwata told company shareholders that the major port strike in the US is preventing a solid supply of New 3DS and amiibo from making it stateside. Living close to the mess down in Long Beach, I can easily believe his comments regarding their stock. It’s a mess out there!

While 3DS and some amiibo stock is most likely sitting in the cargo-hold of a massive ship entertaining Gooper Blooper, Nintendo software isn’t currently affected as that is flown into the US.

I bet there are some Rosalina amiibo in there.
