New Nintendo Direct to Air March 8

Nintendo Direct

Will focus on upcoming 3DS and Switch titles.

A half-hour Nintendo Direct has been announced for tomorrow, March 8th. The focus will be on upcoming games for the 3DS and Switch.

The one title we know will be covered in the presentation is Mario Tennis Aces for the 3DS. That game is supposed to come out this Spring. And since Nintendo doesn’t really like to announce things super far ahead of their releases, I’d imagine most of the games on showcase will be out this Spring/Summer.

That said, there is one rumor going around. A former Wii U title may have moved development to the Switch. The formerly shelved Acid Ghost, starring Eminem as its protagonist, may be featured in the Direct tomorrow. Apparently, Best Buy screwed up and set up a pre-order page (it got nuked pretty quick) which leaked the box art. It’s a Retro Studios game, so it’s anybodies guess as to why it was shelved, but here’s hoping it’s good.

Alternately, the title can be read as “Poo Ghost”, apparently.

Either way, the Nintendo Direct presentation starts at 2pm PST, 5pm EST, 10pm UK, and 11pm CEST. And you’ll be able to watch it here (US), or here (Europe).
