New trailer released for Capcom’s “Deep Down”

I’ll admit to not knowing anything about Deep Down until today (because I am terrible at my job). The gist of it is, it’s a free-to-play (!) online horror game that Capcom teased at a Japanese PS4 event. Here’s a trailer:

Hooooly shit. I don’t know much about the story (and the trailer’s cryptic voiceovers do little to change that), other than that gameplay will be split between the past and New York City in 2094. I don’t care how little I know, this game looks atmospheric and spooky as fuck.

Look at this screenshot:

That’s what the fuck a horror game is supposed to look like. The bad news is, there’s no release date set, which means I have to salivate over screenshots and trailers for the foreseeable future, and you, the loyal GAMbIT reader, has to put up with my breathless incoherence until Deep Down comes out.

What do you guys think of the trailer? Let’s talk about it after I watch it fifty more times.

AAIIIIEEEE!!!
