Nintendo and Kellogg’s Partner Up to make Super Mario Cereal Amiibo

Super Mario

Well, at least it isn’t Ralston.

Yeah, you read that right. Nintendo has partnered with Kellogg’s to produce a Super Mario Odyssey cereal, with a twist. Select boxes of the cereal will actually function as an Amiibo.

The cereal will have the customary oat pieces (in the shape of stars), as well as Marshmallows in the shape of Super Mushrooms, 1UP mushrooms, and ? Boxes. All craftstoadship is of the highest quality. I’m certain children in the Massachusetts area will never be able to get their hands on a box, however.

As stated earlier, only a limited number of the boxes will actually have the Amiibo chip inside. Those will be marked with a sticker denoting that, as seen in the header image (which means you’ll probably have to buy one off a scalper). As to what it does, well, there’s no news on that. It does have some unknown functionality with Super Mario Odyssey. Though if it does some wacky-tacky Banjo Kazooie stuff like turn Mario into a box of cereal, well, I think we’ll all be laughing.
