Remember when Animal Crossing had a bunch of NES games?

As it turns out, the Nintendo Switch is holding secrets. Namely, according to hackers, an NES emulator. And with that emulator, a game called FLOG. Which is just NES Golf, with a twist.

According to hacker yellowS8, the game has been hiding on the system since firmware version 1.0. And it may offer insight into Nintendo’s plans for its NES emulator that was promised. FLOG not only supports control by button, but also motion control with the joycon (as evidenced by the icon in the lower left corner).

While there’s been no official word from Nintendo, that’s not surprising. They probably planned to keep this under wraps until a big announcement to really ramp up the hype. Still, it might be better to be skeptical; there’s no way of actually launching the game normally. We’ll really just have to wait until we get some Nintendo Switch Virtual Console news.
