I wouldn’t get excited just yet.

Rumors have been circulating about a “Switch Pro” being on the way. This mostly comes from ResetEra’s NateDrake, who has leaked such things before. Moreover, according to these rumors, it could be out sometime this year (though it could get delayed into 2022).

Supposedly, the new model Switch will have a chipset that boosts existing games’ performance beyond what the original model was capable of. Notably, with better fps, as well as resolution (4k docked, and DLSS). Though that will all depend on whether a given game is able to utilize that power bump.

As for anything else, well, it’s mostly speculation. You’ll hear about a larger screen, or some specific chip, but until it’s actually announced, there’s really little else to go on. So maybe wait for the direct before you start going into a frenzy.
