Nintendo’s First Mobile Game Is Miitomo

Miitomo

Nintendo has finally spilled the beans on its very first mobile offering going by the name Miitomo. The game will be free-to-play, but will come with the requisite pay features to unlock additional content. But to call Miitomo a game is a bit of a stretch.

We know that the Miitomo is an app designed for people who are shy about meeting new people. In Miimoto the player will be able to create their own Mii just as one would on the Wii or Wii U. This is followed by being asked a series of questions about yourself.

The game/app then takes the answers to these questions, much the same way a dating site does, and matches you up with other Mii’s that best match up with your answers via Nintendo’s new My Nintendo service. As you can probably tell by now the game is more a social network than actual game.

Miitomo will be out by March 2016 and is the first of five mobile offering that Nintendo is releasing.
