Original Mafia Game Free For Series Anniversary

Starting today through September 5th, you can get the original Mafia for free on Steam. This is in celebration of the series’ 20th anniversary. And once you get it, it’s yours to keep.

All you need to do is log in to Steam, go here, and claim it.

Coinciding with the freebie, Roman Hladík of 2K Games’ Hanger 13 studio announced a new entry in the series in a blog post.

I’m happy to confirm we’ve started work on an all-new Mafia project! While it’s a few years away and we can’t share anything more right now, we’re really excited to keep working on this beloved franchise and to entertain our players with new stories.

And, if a 20-year-old game isn’t quite to your taste, the more recent Mafia: Definitive Edition also happens to be on sale right now through the 8th.
