Overwatch Giveaway Is Coming Soon, According to Overwatch League VP

Free Overwatch and OWL Tokens for everyone.

Earlier today, the site for Overwatch League’s Boston Uprising. For about an hour, the site was giving away free copies of the game to anyone that filled out a form on a “getoverwatch” page. While the usual stipulations for these sorts of things applied (PC version through Battle.net, must be over 13 years of age, U.S. resident) anybody that wanted it could get it.

Turns out this was a mistake, but not in the long run. More like stores breaking street date on something by accident. According to Overwatch League VP John Spector, the move was planned, and the actual intended promotion, which also includes an unspecified number of League Tokens, will launch on the various team sites soon.

Well, if you don’t have the game, but want it, I’d keep my ear to the ground if I were you. It’s not every day you get a full, current game for free.
