Paladins: Champions of the Realm Heads To Switch Next Week

Paladins

Free to play later this Summer.

We knew Hi-Rez is bringing their hero shooter Paladins: Champions of the Realm to Nintendo’s Switch. What we didn’t know was that it would be coming very soon. Specifically, next week.

On June 12, the game will launch on Nintendo Switch. But not the free to play version; that comes later this Summer. You’ll be able to buy the Founders Pack (including all current and future heroes in perpetuity, among other things) and play the game for $29.99.

The game runs at 60fps in both handheld and docked modes thanks to an in-house developed port of Unreal 3. And it’ll feature cross-play with the Xbox One version upon launch.

Also, the recently announced Rise of Furia event will hit the console versions later in the month. Paladins: Champions of the Realm already has 25 million players across the previously released PC, Mac, PS4, and Xbox One versions. so you’re guaranteed to find a match.
