Paramount Confirms Third Sonic Movie, Knuckles Series For Paramount+ On The Way

I imagine they’ll unfortunately have to be careful about the second one…

It really wasn’t a surprise to find that there would be a sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog. The film was a hit, surprising everyone (including me) by being an actually good video game movie. What is surprising is, before that sequel even hits theaters, Paramount has confirmed that another sequel is in the works. And, in addition to that, a Paramount+ series focused on Knuckles is also on the way. Though, release dates for either haven’t been announced.

Sega CEO Haruki Satomi is also happy about the news.

It certainly seems 2022 is a year for Sonic the Hedgehog fans, considering all this and Sonic Frontiers.

All that said, though, I’m low-level worried about that Knuckles series. Not because I think they’ll do a bad job or anything, though. I’m actually more worried about a certain someone who is stupidly litigious, and even has an NFT featuring half a character he didn’t actually have any hand in creating.
