Like the NES and SNES classic consoles before it, the PlayStation Classic will feature a number of games exclusive to the Japan release of the console. This makes sense as gamers in Japan have much different tastes than of those in the West, especially back in the early days of gaming.
Let’s face it, Japan is a country that loves its RPG’s and figured those in the West couldn’t handle them in the early days. Remember that Square dropped Final Fantasy Mystic Quest on us because they didn’t think we could comprehend grown-up RPG’s.

The PlayStation Classic drops on December 3rd just in time to be under the Christmas tree. I’ve skipped all the classic console buzz but I expect the girlfriend and family to sneak them under the tree this year. Or at least I hope with the not so subtle hints I’ve been dropping.
