On February 27, 2016, Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue, and Pokémon Yellow will finally make their way onto the 3DS Virtual Console. This means that player will once again be able to flashback to when the series only had 151 Pokemon.

This is also great for younger players that have never had the chance to experience the first generation of Pokemon how they were meant to be played; none of this fancy remastered Leaf Aquamarine Chartreuse Platinum stuff.
