Production of ‘SMACH Z’ portable console for PC games begins… Finally

Look, after all the bullshit that has been the SMACH Z production, I’ll believe it when it’s in our hands.

The SMACH Z team confirms for the umpteenth time that providers are already working on components production and delivery of the device that most people thought was utterly fake. Mass production of SMACH Z is scheduled for Q1 of 2019.

After two years of development (most of which was spent claiming it wasn’t vaporware), the device is ready to go to market with a 6-inch high-definition touch screen and hardware based on AMD Ryzen Embedded and AMD Radeon Vega 8 Graphics.

You want to know how the console hasn’t done much but take money from people for over two years? The Ryzen chipset didn’t even exisit when the SMACH Z was funded. Hell, I’m pretty sure it was supposed to release before that chipset even hit the market.

The first to receive the SMACH Z will be the backers – those who supported the development of SMACH Z through crowdfunding on Kickstarter and Indiegogo. Unlike traditional consoles that are actually real, the SMACH Z allows you to access all PC games (Steam, Origin, GOG, etc.). It can run any PC game, indie as well as AAA.
