The PS3 Silent Hill game that never was

Climax Los Angeles once created a demo pitch for KONAMI in hopes of snagging the Silent Hill licence. You may think this is crazy, but it’s pretty normal for studios to create sample pitches in hopes of getting a big name licence.

It’s also important to know that KONAMI is bat-shit insane so the idea of them giving all their stuff away isn’t wild. Hell, they have Pachinko machines of sexy Castlevania stuff. The game never came to be, but a lot of crap Silent Hill projects did during last generation.

After not getting the licence it was billed as an episodic game (another big thing last gen) by the name of Broken Covenant. This as well wasn’t picked up by a publisher, but it;s a neat little demo that would not have been out-of-place on the PS3.
