Pushing Daisies May Return To TV After 6 Years

Pushing Daisies

Unconfirmed reports are saying that Pushing Daisies may be coming back from the dead thanks to The CW. The show originally ran from 2007 – 2009 on ABC and had a strong fanbase, but fell victim, in part, to The Writers Guild strike that took place during the shows run.

Show creator Bryan Fuller (Hannibal) is said to be attached in the revival in some form from online speculation, but no official announcement has been made. The shows original run can be currently streamed right now on Roku devices via the CW Seed app, but will be available for all CW Seed users on Dec 1st. This streaming of the original show may be a way of testing the waters for a hopeful revival in the near future.

Pushing Daisies stared Lee Pace as a pie-maker with the ability to bring dead people back to life. the only drawback was that he couldn’t touch them post-resurrection.

Update (11/19/15): No additional news has come out since initial reports and online sources have gone dark. One still hopes that the CW Seed streaming still leads to something in the near future.
