MacGyver was a fun show. I think it became much more popular after it went off the air, but it has been ingrained into pop culture even though I don’t think many people have actually watched the show. Well, CBS is trying to MacGyver the hell out of the new MacGyver show to less than impressive results.
The trailer seems to be pushing the “make random shit out of paperclips” sort of idea we have of the character, but does feel as if it’s trying too hard to be cool. Like it’s some sort of meme come to life. Maybe it’s just me and my cynical nature, but you can check out the trailer for yourself below:
