If you remember back in the days before Resident Evil 2 launched, Capcom dropped a commercial that legendary filmmaker George A. Romero directed.

And since Capcom is on a nostalgia trip, the company released a brand new live-action trailer for the Resident Evil 2 Remake that pays tribute to the original.

George A. Romero is no longer with us and those zombie designs feel pretty cheap, but it’s great to see Capcom paying respects to some of the things that made their games and marketing so memorable.

The Resident Evil 2 Remake hits stores tomorrow, January 25.
