Everyone’s jazzed about that Resident Evil 2 Remake. And now they’ll have the chance to get a taste of it ahead of release. A special “1-Shot Demo” for the game is coming to Xbox One, PS4, and PC (via Steam). The demo will be downloadable between January 11th and the 31st.
But what do they mean by 1-Shot? Well, players must help Leon S. Kennedy survive the horrors of Raccoon City and complete the mission objective of the demo in 30 minutes. If successful, players can replay the mission as many times as they like until those 30 minutes are up. And if they succumb to the zombie menace, well, that’s okay too; you can keep retrying until you hit the deom’s 30 minute cap. And at the end of the demo, players get their reward: a new exclusive trailer for the game, unseen anywhere else. While the demo stops being playable after those 30 minutes are up, you can view the trailer as many times as you wish.
The Resident Evil 2 Remake hits Xbox One, PS4, and PC on January 25th, 2019.
