Work is about to get underway for the 2015 Doctor Who Christmas special. This year will feature the 11th iteration of the ongoing special –not The Doctor– and with it comes the revival of a much-loved Doctor Who character; River Song.
We know that this years Christmas Special is set on some future Christmas Day –that tends to be the case with this episodes– and sees the TARDIS sitting on snowy village street. This is where everyone’s favorite Song, River, comes into the picture.
She meets her (SPOILER ALERT for those who are years behind the times) husband’s latest incarnation, the wonderful Peter Capaldi, for the very first time. This of course brings up a lot of questions as the last time The Doctor saw River, she was kinda, sorta , you know, a ghost. But since the whole being dead thing never stopped the show before, I’m sure there will be some Deus ex Machi… Err, magic Time Lord timey whatever bit that fixes everything
