Robbie Amell will be making his presence known in central city in the Arrow spinoff The Flash as Firestorm.
The former Tomorrow People star is taking on the role of Ronnie Raymond, better known to comic fans as one-half of the hero Firestorm. He is set to have a major recurring role on the new show which will hopefully see he get some onscreen time with real life cousin Stephen Amell who stars as Arrow.
Ronnie Raymond is a maintenance worker at S.T.A.R. Labs and plays a major role in the particle accelerator accident that transformed Barry Allen into The Flash during his spinoff episode on Arrow.
While Firestorm has seen several appearances in the animated world, this marks the first time the character is featured in a live action show.
