Robotbase Looks To Make The Personal Robot A Reality In 2015

Personal Robot

If we learned anything from this year’s CES convention in Las Vegas is that personal robots of all kinds are on their way, and sooner than you might expect. Robotbase is looking to make gigantic waves in the personal robot space with their new Personal Robot. Not just something that you guide around with a remote and listen talk with heavily synthesized speech, Personal Robot offers a world of possibilities.

People are wanting the future, today, and the Kickstarter for Personal Robot shows that, as the campaign hit its funding goal within six days of launching. While we havent seen the unit in action, its bold claims and sleek design have us very intrigued. What’s even more mind-blowing for us is that Robotbase was only asking for $50,000 dollars to get Personal Robot into users hands.

It’s crazy, because I have seen much less impressive tech, games, art projects, go for well over double that price point. Check out the video below to see the full demo of the Personal Robot in action and check out all the details and specs on the unit below that. 2015 is going to be an exciting year in personal robotics!
