Why am I here? Just to suffer?
You know, I was riding high off of that Monster Hunter World: Iceborne vibe. Then our editor-in-chief reminded me that the same director responsible for those fucking awful Resident Evil movies is making a Monster Hunter film. And then I was sad.
Regardless, the Shanghai International Film Festival showed off a 30 second teaser for the film, it gives a look at Rathalos and Diablos, with the latter erupting from the sand as its wont to do.
My optimism is non-existant, though. Because, boy, is there a bad track record specifically for Capcom properties being turned into movies. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go forget this movie exists again, until I’m inevitably forced to watch and review it.
