Silent Hill returns with Hideo Kojima, Guillermo del Toro & Norman Reedus

Silent Hill

It’s time for gamers to return to Silent Hill! It has just recently been announced that the series is coming to this new generation with a little help. Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear Series)  is teaming up with director Guillermo del Toro (Pacific Rim, Hellboy, Pan’s Labyrinth) to craft the next installment in the venerable survival horror franchise.

Players won’t just be experiencing an all new Silent Hill from a series regular as this new installment will see one of the stars from The Walking Dead taking a lead role. Norman Reedus (most likely playing someone other than Dayrl. Man would that be one heck of a twist if he did!) will be lending his likeness and voice talent to our new hero.

The announcement came in the form of a playable interactive trailer that was made available to Playstation Store users.

A user by the name of SoapyWarpig on Twitch has footage of the demo being played. Feel free to skip to the 1:16:30 mark to see the reveal.
