Just… wow.

I sure hope you weren’t holding your breath for Sony to find a cross-play solution that “players would understand and accept”. Because at Germany’s IFA electronics convention, Sony CEO Kenichiro Yoshida asserted that “PlayStation is the best way to play”. The full of his quote, according to The Independant:

On cross-platform, our way of thinking is always that PlayStation is the best place to play. Fortnite, I believe, partnered with PlayStation 4 is the best experience for users, that’s our belief.

But actually, we already opened some games as cross-platform with PC and some others, so we decide based on what is the best user experience. That is our way of thinking for cross-platform.

No doubt, they’re going to keep your Epic accounts hostage because of that, guys.
