Insomniac Games is now an exclusive PlayStation developer after Sony scoops up the company after the wild success of Spider-Man on PS4. Sorry Xbox fanboys.

The game studio has been around for a long time with huge series under their belt including Ratchet & Clank. Sure, most of the games they created were Sony exclusives, but they worked on the wholly underrated Sunset Overdrive on Xbox One.

It’s clear that a followup to Spider-Man was on the way and Sony was smart to lock-down the studio so they can consolidate and focus on first-party titles ahead of the upcoming launch of the PS5.
