Splinter Cell Animated Series Taps John Wick Writer For Netflix

Put on your night vision goggles.

Netflix is no stranger to video game adaptations, given the fact that Castlevania, an adaptation long in the making, was a pretty big hit for them. Well, they’re trying their hand at something more contemporary this time, as according to Variety, they’re aiming to adapt Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell into an animated series.

And they’re serious about it, too. The series will be helmed by John Wick writer Derek Kolstad. The first season is already in production, and supposedly an order for 16 episodes spread across 2 seasons has been ordered.

There is currently no word on whether Michael Ironside will be reprising his role as Sam Fisher for the series.
