We are still not quite sold on Star Wars Battlefront. While we are excited about another entry into the fantastic series, everything we have got our hand on a demo it has felt, lifeless. I chalk that up to being far too simplistic for today, even going so far as to say that it doesn’t do anything different (aside from the lovely visuals) from the last entry in the series back in 2005.
Still, every time DICE and EA release a new trailer, or show off a new feature, I once again get giddy with excitement. Perhaps that’s just what the Star Wars brand does to me, and after so many disappointments I have become a jaded old man. The team once again has my interest as it has released the trailer for a new Fighter Squadron Mode that sees you taking to the skies in the battle against the empire.
