Stephen Amell To Wrestle Stardust As Arrow At SummerSlam

Arrow vs Stardust

That’s a headline that I never thought I’d type in a million years. For those of you that don’t follow Arrow actor Stephen Amell on social media –and you should be as he is a really swell guy– you may not know of his great love for wrestling. He even went as far as to purchase an old-school WWF Championship belt to use in the fantasy league that he is a part of.

What you may know is that last week the actor took a break from shooting the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel to make a guest appearance on Monday Night Raw. Those show has been the flagship of WWE for as long as I can remember, and is one of the longest running live shows on cable television. While in the audience, Mr. Amell had a confrontation with the very wild, very out there character, Stardust.

Arrow vs Stardust

Well, it seems as if the actor is getting his dreams made as reports are stating that he will be facing Stardust in the ring at the SumerSlam Pay-Per-View event. Hollywood Life broke the news via their source that said:

The WWE and Stephen are deciding if he should wrestle as himself or Arrow, in the next few weeks that will be answered but what can be answered now is that he will definitely have a match against WWE Superstar Stardus.

How excited would you be to see Arrow vs. Stardust this summer? At the very least it would be a hell of a lot more entertaining than the Mayweather vs. Pacquaio fight from some weeks back. And since the WWE has it’s Pay-Per-View’s now at only $9.99 that also gives you access to their WWE Network, you really can’t go wrong. It should also be noted that the WWE has a small connection with the new TMNT film, as WWE Superstar Sheamus is in the cast playing Rocksteady.
