Stone House Orphanage is a PS1-inspired horror game you can play in your browser

Stone House Orphanage is a little PS1-inspired horror title that grabbed my attention from the spooky nun screenshot that I came across. It was enough to freak the hebeejebees right out of me. Come to find out the game is free and that you can play it in your browser!

The title was created for the Two-Minute Horror Jam, so this is one that won’t take you long to get through. That dais, it’s all the more impressive to hit you with the scares in such a small adventure. Pacing is key in something like this.

In Stone House Orphanage you play as an investigator that reminds me of Edward Carnby from the Alone in the Dark series. You show up to the creepy place in an attempt to find out what has happened to a bunch of missing children.

The most helpful and nightmare inducing of nun’s greats you and shows you around the place. She says the kids ran away, and if you believe that I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.
