Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin Demo Extended After Botched Launch

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, the game that the internet is making fun of at the moment, is having its demo extended by two days thanks in part to having such a botched demo launch in which players could not even download the game.

The PlayStation 5 demo will now last through June 26th and was relayed via a Famitsu interview on the official Square Enix website. Several users faced issues with the E3 demo and were greeted with messages telling them that their data was corrupted, and that it needed to be deleted and downloaded again.

But more interesting in the interview is the revelation from Nomura, clarifying that Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is not a sequel or prequel to the first Final Fantasy game like many of us thought, and where most of the memes online come from. That saidd, Nomura did say that the title does share a setting with the entries universe.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is currently slated for a 2022 release on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and PC.
