Today is the day that Super Nintendo games finally come to the Nintendo Switch via the online service. I was super happy with the NES offering up to this point but now I’m super stoked as the SNES was my bread and butter growing up.
A list of 20 games are scheduled to drop and each will feature rewind function as well as online multiplayer for those games capable of it. I hate online multiplayer but I’m sure as hell excited for it, especially if we get some classic beat em’ ups and fighting games dropping on the system later.
At the time of this writing, the games haven’t gone live on my console but I’m sitting here patiently waiting. And if you want a more authentic experience you’ll be able to order some retro SNES controllers just like you could with the NES ones.
