Super Red-Hot Hero Kickstarter looks to pay homage to classic SNES platformers

The award-winning (Playstation Awards) Super Red-Hot Hero is a frenzied modern-old school platformer game inspired by Super Mario, Megaman and Super MeatBoy.

It’s being developed by StrangeLight Games, a small independent studio from Barcelona, Spain.

You can download a DEMO of Super Red-Hot Hero from its Kickstarter page (marked as “Projects we love” in Kickstarter) and if you enjoy it, you can also contribute to help them make Super Red-Hot Hero real.

Super Red-Hot Hero is a challenging 2.5D platformer about a guy with a defective Red-Hot Energy core instead a heart, who has to fight against the Kazan Army forces to get his heart back.

The game will have 30 stages, with a lot of cells of Red-Hot Energy to get to increase the hero’s batteries duration and very challenging speedruns to beat.

You can see much more material from Super Red-Hot Hero and try out a demo in the Kickstarter campaign HERE.
