Temuera Morrison Returns To Star Wars In The Mandalorian As Boba Fett

Star Wars

Was not digested for a thousand years.

The Mandalorian is pretty much the only live-action Star Wars content that anyone cares about right now. And they’re pressing that advantage by bringing back Temuera Morrison, who played Jango Fett in Star Wars: Episode II: Attack of the Clones. Only this time, he’ll get to keep his head, since he’ll be playing Boba Fett instead.

Sources say that the famed bounty hunter will play a small role in season 2 of The Mandalorian. The character was teased in season 1, but never fully shown on screen.

Morrison recently played the father of Jason Momoa’s Arthur Curry/ Aquaman, Tom Curry, in DC’s Aquaman in 2018. Among other roles, he’s also continued to be involved in the Star Wars universe, voicing both Jango and Boba Fett in various video games in which they appear.

Season 2 of The Mandalorian premieres on Disney+ in October this year.
