I have no idea what the hell is going on in this trailer for Devil’s Third, but I do know that I need to get my hands on this game when it drops! Nintendo platforms haven’t been known for games that play fast and loose with the violence and gore, but every system has had at least one title that pushes limits.

The Wii had No More Heroes and Mad World, the Gamecube threw at us Killer 7, and the Nintendo 64 gave us Conker. Devil’s Third looks to be filling that spot on the Wii U quite nicely so far. It looks like Metal Gear Solid if you fed it a steady diet of Pop Rocks and Coke. The game drops August 28 in Europe with a North American release to follow later this year.
