It has just been announced that very familiar character of the DC Universe is joining the cast of Constantine.  Jim Corrigan, the man who eventually takes on the mantle of The Spectre in the DC Universe, has been confirmed to be joining the show.

Undertaking this larger than life character will be Irish actor Emmett Scanlan who can be currently seen in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. For now, Scanlan will be playing Jim Corrigan as a major recurring character, one that by the looks of things will be set up for a major arc in the show.
