Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD is Getting Delisted on Steam

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD

This is what it’s like when worlds collide.

If you grew up in the 90’s, you probably have some fond memories of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater. Hell, you didn’t even have to be a skater. So you’d imagine that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD would be worth it.

Well, sadly, Steam will be delisting the game on July 17th. There could be any number of reasons why, but chances are due to the large amount of licensed music in the game. But cheer up, the game is currently 80% off through the 17th. The DLC, however, is still full price at $4.99.

That all said, the game’s had some patchy reviews. Many cite how not right (or like the original) the controls are. Which is a shame, since the controls are part of what made these games fun. It’s also missing much of the creature comforts of later games in the series, which you’d normally want in an HD remake. Still, for $2 (7 total with the DLC), it is a tantalizing deal.

So, if you want it, you’d best snap up Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD before it’s gone for good.
