I can’t tell you how groundbreaking and insane it was to get your hands on a PC game from your morning cereal. Sure, it sounds like nothing today, but back in 1996 it was crazy.
Not only that, but the game we got was a full-blown DOOM clone that wasn’t all that terrible. To this day Chex Quest is the greatest freebie to ever grace a cereal box.
