Star Wars Battlefront (the second first one –I know it’s confusing) was a gorgeous game that was quite a bit of fun. Unfortunately, EA pulled and EA and left out any sort of cohesive story.

I understand that story is secondary to these online only shooters, but this is Star Wars we were talking about. The video games have always been about putting us int he shoes of some  pretty awesome characters.

Now it look like EA is rectifying the issue with the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront II. Not only does it feature a story mode to pair with the multiplayer experience, but it’s something altogether new that takes place after Jedi and the destruction of the Empire. But the real kicker comes with the understanding that you’ll be playing from the baddies point of view!

You’ll live the untold Star Wars story of Iden, an elite Stormtrooper, in an original single-player story. Battle on land and in space in an expanded multiplayer experience with iconic heroes and villains, thrilling space battles, and a deep progression and customization system.

The game launches on November 17th 2017.
