Turok 2 Seeds of Evil Returns to PC

Nightdive Studios teams up with Intel to demo game at Game Developers Conference, March 1st.

Nightdive Studios, the publisher behind the PC release/port of Turok back in 2015, has announced that they will be once again diving into the world of Turok with the release of the sequel, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil on March 16th, 2017.

Turok 2: Seeds of Evil is the classic N64 FPS where players assume the role of Turok, fighting their way through a host of new enemies, weapons, and missions. When the game was first released for the Nintendo 64 console, it sold over one million copies, making it a smash success. It was also a lot of fun and much better than the original.

As Turok, players can run, jump, climb ladders, swim, dive underwater, and even explore a futuristic setting. The remastered game transports players into a sprawling environment with vicious enemies lurking behind every corner.

Fans can look forward to new bosses and over 20 new weapons, including the skull-drilling favorite – The Cerebral Bore – that will send enemy brains flying. It was easily the highlight of the game back in the day.

But what is really neat about this release is a new feature that wasn’t in the original. Turok 2: Seeds of Evil has added a multiplayer game mode in “Last Turok Standing” where players can battle with friends for an even more visceral gaming experience. Fingers crossed this isn’t just a local multiplayer thing, and that we get some online action.
