Twitch might be rolling out $10 and $25 channel sub tiers

Twitch

Over on Reddit there is an email that is making the rounds regarding Twitch and its channel subscription fees. As most people know, partnered Twitch streamers have the option of allowing their followers and fans to subscribe to their channel.

It’s all a bit weird on the surface, but it’s actually a great way to keep up with your favorite channels with alerts and perks, while also supporting them by tossing them a few bucks a month.

This new possible program may just give those that stream the option choose a couple of new tiers ar $10 and $25 per month. Twitch partners will be able to opt-in for an upcoming beta test sometime later this month.

$25 a month seems pretty high to pay to support a single streamer, but a great many fans already pay more than that on the Patreon’s of their favorite streamers. I don’t even pay $25 for all my streaming content so this isn’t for me, but then again I’m not a Twitch Partner, or that entertaining.
