Now is your chance to take part in the latest battle royale title with the beta for Hyper Scape. The latest from Ubisoft is a cyberspace-inspired battle royale game that you can take part in on PC via UPlay.
Much of the experience is what you would expect from this genre but with a couple of tricks to make things at least appear fresh for the first month or two and before everyone just goes back to Fortnite.
You can build walls and the game encourages a more vertical type of gameplay to help set it apart from its contemporaries. There is also a crown feature that lets you win the match by acquiring it and not having to kill the last few players.
In an already crowded field of games adding an instant-win mechanic seems neat until you realize all your work could be rendered mute by some lucky kid you never even encountered during play. Taking bets in the comments to see how long this one lasts before falling to Lawbreakers levels of engagement.
