Utomik, the little gaming subscription that could, continues to expand its catalog with a number of Ubosoft classics. We were lucky enough to try the service for a few months and found it to be pretty great if you are a more casual gamer, or one that likes to explore lots of niche titles. If you use Steam, then this isn’t for you, but the older folks that just want to get back into gaming probably won’t find a better option.
The service has a weekly growing library of 650+ hand-picked games, including blockbuster classics, retro gems, indie games and family-friendly titles. Some of our favorites were the arcade titles that we missed out on here in the States. With Utomik’s smart download tech, you play games instantly in a single click, and while it really isn’t “instant” as the first time you play a game it needs to download files, it’s still pretty fast on a good connection.
