Vertagear’s RGB Gaming Chair Adds More Lumens to your Desk

Vertagear

It’s like having the Aurora Borealis localized entirely around your PC.

RGB lighting is the big thing in gaming right now. You can find it on keyboards (useful), mice (slightly less so), and, well, just about any computer part you could imagine, external to internal. And now, thanks to Vertagear, that also includes your chair.

The Vertagear PL4500 RGB chair, the latest in their Racing series, was shown off at CES. The chair lights up behind the headrest. It runs on (replaceable) rechargeable batteries, and can stay lit for about 30 hours on a full charge.

And, yes, it changes colors using the built in NZXT CAM integration. You can fiddle with the colors wirelessly thanks to the provided USB dongle.

Vertagear has yet to announce a price or precise launch date for the PL4500. Though they have stated a Spring launch.

And yes, Linus called it.
