Approaching the 20th Anniversary of his first WWE wrestling match, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is reflecting on the day his life changed forever: November 17, 1996. He made his debut at Madison Square Garden as “Rocky Maivia” at WWE’s Survivor Series in a matchup against Crush and Goldust.

It was a different time in the WWF (now WWE) and Superstars we still, for the most part, bright and colorful. So we can forgive Rocky for the outfit. I’m not sure about the hair though as I don’t remember that mop top ever catching on with the kids.
